DISCUSSION PROBLEM

Problem no 1

The Meaning Of  Data Transmission

Transmission is the movement of information over a telecommunications medium.  attention to making the transmission channel used to transmit information, as well as to ensure that the information can be accurately and reliably.
So, data transmission is a movement of information over a telecommunications medium, to share information accurately and reliably

Problem no 2

The different between windows server and linux serve
With Linux, the operating system is effectively free
Windows, there are licensing fees for any version, so there is a cost factor
With linux, you have to make modification kernel
Windows, it's a stable platform, though not as flexible
This answer is pick up from Phil Cox, principal consultant with System Experts interview

And from the other resource
Server that based on Linux, for example, qmail that equal to MS exchange server, can work at a Pentium 1 computer with only using RAM 64MB or less. Linux has a TUI (text user interface) for administrating the system, fot example, YaST in SUSE and drakxconf in mandriva, that can run without X Window.
As a OS server, linux is design not to often for shutdown in the operation, defending from the memory leak in linux have more concern than windows

Problem no 3
The different of LAN (Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network)

LAN is a network that is often used because we do not need too much device to built it, compare to the MAN or WAN where they requires a variety of things, in range, each of these different networks, and the speed, LAN used by one or more buildings, wich mean the distance between computers of 5 - 10 km, the speed on LAN is 10 - 100 mbps, really different to the WAN and MAN, which each of this 2 types have the speed of 1,5 to 150 mbps and 1,5 mbps to 2,4 gbps, distance in MAN = 10 KM to hundred KM, MAN = 100 KM to 1000 KM, so the scope of man is achieve a city and WAN even can reach a inter-city even between country coverage of its network

Problem no 4
The meaning of hierarchical in tree topoloy

Topology tree or hierarchical topology also called and can also be called multilevel topology is a topology that can be used on the network in a multilevel indoor office.  The purpose of the hierarchy is the level that exists in the tree topology, or we can called it hierarchical is a tree topology, tree topology is a term that use to describe the hierarchical of this topology.

We can see it from the picture above, the hierarchical of this network describe how the network work, when the hierarchical getting to the top,  it have a higher hierarchy.
